Posted in Kalispell, MT- A hit-and-run accident at an uncontrolled intersection in Kalispell caused injury to two women early Sunday morning.
According to police, a car traveling eastbound collided with a car traveling northbound. The impact of the crash caused to the northbound car to roll over twice. One of the passengers, an unidentified woman, had her head trapped underneath the car. She was knocked unconscious, but the pressure was not great enough to cause serious injury.
Police said that two passengers from the eastbound car fled the scene on foot. The driver took off in the vehicle. The driver was later identified by a license plate that was left at the scene. The juvenile driver was charged with failing to yield right of way and leaving the scene of an accident.
The two women in the northbound car were taken to a local hospital and were released later Sunday afternoon.
