DEERFIELD, NH – A New Hampshire girl was seriously injured after her father ran their vehicle off the road.

According to New Hampshire police, the 9-year-old victim sustained serious injuries after her father drove their pickup truck off the road and struck a tree on Sunday. Police say the man was driving under the influence when the incident took place.

Authorities say the pickup swerved on Route 107 in Deerfield and crashed into a tree on the passenger’s side.

NEWARK, New Jersey — A hit-and-run accident claims the life of a four year-old girl.

Police are currently searching for a luxury sedan that was reported to have hit a young girl and flee the scene of the accident.

Witnesses report that Julianne McKenzie Vega was standing across the street of her house when she was hit by a speeding, dark colored Mercedes sedan around 8:30 last night.

One witness, Lance Stoveall, reported hearing a loud “boom”  and when he looked to see what was going on, he noticed that “she was actually in the air flipping, and she hit right here right on the back [of his wife’s minivan].”

The Stoveall’s residence was three houses away from the supposed scene of the impact.

The alleged driver did not stop or even slow down to help the young girl. When paramedics arrived, she was taken to UMDNJ Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle has yet to be identified and investigations are underway.
