Wal-Mart Truck Driver Collides with Vehicle in Rib Mountain

RIB MOUNTAIN, Wisconsin — An accident involving an overturned tractor-trailer on Highway 51 near Highway N in Rib Mountain has left one person injured.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, the auto accident occurred at around 11:15 a.m. just south of Highway N.

Donald J. Kane, of Onalaska, was driving a Wal-Mart truck when it collided with a car driven by William T. Guenter of Gladstone, Ore., causing the truck to roll onto its side.

Kane sustained a minor injury and was treated and released from Aspirus Wausau Hospital. No word on whether Guenter was injured.

Wisconsin State Patrol continues to investigate the incident. The cause of the truck accident has yet to be determined.
