Series of Fayetteville, NC accidents result in one man’s arrest

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A motorist was arrested and charged following a series of accidents that occurred while he was impaired.

The Hope Mills man, 33-year-old Terry Chole Marshall, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 25, after being suspected to have caused several accidents in Cumberland County.

Among his charges, Marshall has been accused of hit-and-run and DUI. Police believe he crashed into at least five cars in Fayetteville alone. However, state troopers are investigating other cases that took place outside the city which Marshall may have been involved in.

Authorities report that the first collision took place around 5 p.m. All of the automotive incidents resulted in property damage and a number of victims reported minor injuries.

No further word on when Marshall will be tried in court.
