Two Teens Involved in Fatal Car Accident in California

CALIFORNIA – Two teens were killed in a weekend car accident near Chico, California after their vehicle rolled over.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the car crash took place at around 9:30 p.m. Saturday night when a 2003 Acura with three teens approached a curve in the roadway on South Park Drive near Shaw Circle in Magalia. The car was traveling at an unsafe speed and the driver, a 16-year-old, lost control. The vehicle then left the roadway, hitting a utility pole and crashing into a tree before overturning.
The two passengers, a girl and boy, were killed in the crash. They were identified as Billi Oliver, 16, of Magalia, and Dustin Lyle, 17, of Paradise. The driver suffered moderate injuries.
The CHP said alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, but the teen was speeding when the vehicle neared the curve.

Is P. Diddy Ok After Car Accident?

P. Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, was involved in a serious car accident on Wednesday that left him with multiple injuries, but is the rap superstar going to be ok?
“Sean Combs sustained multiple injuries in [the] car accident including to his neck, ribs and collarbone,” said a rep in a statement. “He is currently receiving treatment for these injuries from his physicians and would like to thank all of his fans for the outpouring of support that he has received since the accident.”
TMZ first published photos of the car crash, which allegedly took place after another vehicle made a left turn in front of the rapper’s SUV and crashed into Diddy’s vehicle. Although police officers were called to the scene of the auto accident, no citations were issued and no one required immediate transportation to a hospital.

Mississippi Boating Accident Victims Identified

MISSISSIPPI – Two men who were killed following a boating accident on the Mississippi River Saturday were identified by the Rock Island County coroner on Sunday as Dvid P. Slater, 50, of Davenport, and Thomas O. Trainer, 42, of Canton, Illinois.
The men had been riding in a small boat with five others on their way to go duck hunting when the vessel crashed into a buoy on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River at around six in the morning. The crash caused one of the men to be thrown into the water and the other to be thrown against the buoy.
Other hunters in the area as well as emergency crews were able to assist the other five boaters. They were all transported to nearby hospitals in serious condition. Four were airlifted to University Hospitals in Iowa City for treatment and the fifth victim was treated at Genesis Medical Center-East Rusholme Street, Davenport. His condition was not available as of Sunday night.
Police have yet to release the identities of the other surviving boat accident victims and the results of autopsies performed on the deceased boaters are pending.
Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the boating accident.

Two People Injured in Kansas City Turnpike Accident

KANSAS CITY, MO – A man and woman may soon be in need of a Kansas City accident lawyer following a crash on the Kansas Turnpike near Emporia that occurred over the weekend.
Authorities report that a motor vehicle accident that took place on Saturday just before 3 p.m. left a man and a woman injured. Shandra Keirsey, 58, of Maryville, Mo., was a passenger in the vehicle.
For reasons yet unknown to police, Duvall lost control of his car and the vehicle hydroplaned. Both victims were transported to Newman Regional Health for treatment. Their extent of their injuries was not reported as the hospital does not give out patient information to the media.

Four People Killed in Early Morning New York Car Crash

WEST HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. — A Monday morning car crash in New York has left four people dead.
According to New York State Police, a car was sliced in half after crashing into several trees along a Long Island parkway Monday at around 4 a.m. The names of the victims were not immediately released, nor were the specific details of the incident. A fifth victim was taken to an area hospital to be treated for unspecified injuries.
According to Amy Buchanan, who lives near the scene of the accident, the area is notorious for traffic accidents.
“I’ve lived here for 10 years and there has been an accident almost in that exact spot every year, but never as one as horrific as this,” she said.
The roadway was shut down for over five hours but reopened shortly after 10 a.m.
