REMSEN, Iowa – An Iowa teen has been hospitalized following an accident on a northwest Iowa farm.
The incident occurred at around 3 p.m. Monday near Remsen. A 17-year-old girl was pinned between a gate and several hay bales that were being moved by a skid loader.
By the time paramedics arrived she had been freed and was then transported to Floyd Valley Hospital in Le Mars.
Authorities say her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The name of the young victim has yet to be released.
