LOS ANGELES, CA – Actress Halle Berry was injured Tuesday night while on the set of her new movie, “The Hive.”
The 45-year-old starlet fell and hit her head on concrete, reported TMZ. She was then transported to Cedars Sinai Medical Center for treatment and has since been released.
Her representative tells TMZ that Berry “suffered a minor head injury … She was taken to the hospital as a precaution, but she checked out healthy and was released. She’ll continue production as planned.”
Berry was also injured while filming another movie in September 2011. She broke her foot on a day off from shooting “Cloud Atlas” in Spain.
Workplace injuries like this one occur quite frequently. Unfortunately, victims tend to just shrug it off and seek medical care on their own, not knowing the full extent of the benefits they are entitled to. If you or a loved one have been injured while at work, seek the help of an accident lawyer immediately to file a claim.
As a workplace accident victim, you may be entitled to thousands, or even millions of dollars in money damages, medical coverage and lost wages, and your accident lawyer will ensure you obtain the maximum compensation possible. They will investigate the incident and if they find your accident was the result of someone’s negligence or mechanical failure, rest assured your case will resolve in your favor.
Many times, accident victims experience difficulty when trying to collect money on their own from insurance companies, Medicare or Medicaid. This is where accident lawyers step in to assist. They will make sure you do not get turned down for a claim and fight so your rights are upheld.
