SALISBURY, Maryland — A construction worker was injured in a scaffolding accident while getting things ready for a weekend concert event.
The worker sustained injuries at the site of the Chickenstock Live! concert, as he was preparing the Arthur W. Perdue Stadium for the event. The concert has now been suspended until an examination by state safety and health compliance inspectors is complete.
The victim was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries. The workplace accident occurred around 4 p.m. at the stadium off eastbound Route 50 in Salisbury. Workers were preparing for Saturday’s concert event, which was promoted as “the biggest concert” on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
As per proper protocol after an accident at a jobsite, further work on the stage has been suspended until an inspection by Maryland Occupational Safety and Health, or MOSH, has been completed. A MOSH team has already been deployed to the location. Work could resume as soon as the team gives the go ahead.
Authorities have identified the injured worker as a male, but his name has not been released. There are few details regarding the accident but Maryland Police say that more will be explained shortly.

Why couldnt they still do the concert. The bands could have played from the back of a truck like in the old days. i wonder if they refunded all the money to the ticket holders.
Maybe they have had tickets refund for it.
