Missoula, MT- Several passengers on a charter bus and another drivers were injured on Tuesday morning following a traffic collision on Highway 93.
According to Montana police, the bus and a full-size pickup truck were both traveling northbound when the truck attempted to make a right turn. The bus then rear ended the truck.
The driver of the bus knew he would not be able to avoid the collision so he turned to the left. The truck driver also veered to the left causing the two vehicles to collide. After striking the truck the bus traveled an additional 50 feet finally coming to a rest in some brush along the side of the road.
Several people on the bus had minor injuries and were taken to local hospitals. The truck driver had serious injuries but is expected to recover.
Police believe that a faulty break light and turn signal are to blame for the accident.
Personal injury victims are eligible for compensation once police have determined which driver was at fault for an injurious or fatal traffic accident. Once a Montana accident attorney is hired to work on case they will begin gathering evidence and making certain they present a strong case, maximizing their client’s final settlement.
Assigning negligence is an accident lawyer’s main goal, and they will be able to recover the cost the victims are faced with because of injury or wrongful death. Skilled accident attorneys are able to win many thousands if not millions of dollars for their clients.
